Erosion barrier solves drainage problem

In this slide show, Josh settles an erosion barrier into place but I did, in fact, dig that hole in the side of the dirt mound just so everyone knows that I helped out with this one in a very muscle-centric way. The dirt from the hill beside the barn’s foundation has to stay away from the gravel that surrounds the building because that gravel is part of the drainage system. Josh decided we needed to install the wooden beam yesterday because of today’s flood warning.
